Syska Hennessy asked Spiked to create a video for their 95th anniversary celebrations that celebrated their history and the people that have continued to drive the firm's success.

Syska Hennessy was founded in 1928 of the ambition of Adolf Syska and John Hennessy to create an engineering practice that would serve the leading architects of the day.  The same ambition, service and innovation can be found in the engineers and team that make up Syska Hennessy today.

Inspired by the 95th anniversary logo, we developed an animation style which brought motion to the iconic red lines in a way which reflected a journey from the firm's foundations to the current day.  Combining this with a narration designed to show the connection between the characteristics that drove success for the firms founders to those same characteristics today we created a piece which spoke not only of history, but of culture and ambition.  The piece was used to inspire staff and clients in person and online.
